Office Assistant/bookkeeper

**Job Summary**
As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the company. You will assist in maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
**Duties**:
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Support payroll processing activities
- Conduct account reconciliation and analysis
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for financial data entry
- Assist in bank reconciliation processes
**Experience**:
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred
- Familiarity with budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.40-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 16 per week
