Reporting to the National Director of Sales, the **Regional** **Sales Manager **will be responsible for researching, following-up on and converting sales leads in order to achieve our larger company objectives.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:

- Meet sales targets by soliciting, selling and confirming business as required through targeted sales calls, cold calls, sales missions, etc.
- Prepare proposals and presentations, and lead negotiations to meet the needs of both potential and existing client and hotels with proposals and rate contracts
- Be proactive in terms of competitor awareness. Research and/or have knowledge of the local competition and assess general market conditions
- Conduct site inspections with clients when appropriate for guestrooms and meeting space.
- Prepare sales reports, including sales activities completed, key account development strategies & relevant sales intelligence.
- Document and maintain pertinent client information and activity in CRM including production, pace and trends.
- Develop and maintain key industry partnerships; participation in community and industry related organizations
- Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.
- Travel to conduct outside calls, promote the hotels and review competition.
- Represent hotels at trade shows. Set up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting and reaching overhead.
- Be accountable for and aggressive in achieving agreed financial targets liaising closely with the Hotel General Manager and National Director of Sales; rates to business volume in order to achieve budgeted average room rate/revenue/meeting space.
- Be alert to business peaks and troughs and contribute innovative ideas in order to contribute to the profitability of the property.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

- Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business and meet client needs.
- Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections.
- Ability to travel, including a full Driver’s License

Be able to work flexible hours when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
