We’re seeking a motivated and dynamic **Retail Sales Territory Representative** with a passion for the beverage alcohol industry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within your designated territory. Your passion for beer and strong interpersonal skills will be key to building strong lasting relationships with customers to drive growth, promoting our products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Achieve territory sales volume, revenue, and growth targets;
- Establish business relationships within LCBO, Beer Store, Grocery, Convenience; provide recommendations regarding Wellington products, promotions, sales opportunities, and work with customers to develop account plans and priorities;
- Work with Management and customers to set targets, hold regular business reviews to discuss product performance, and adjust targets as required;
- Coordinate and execute various Key Account and Marketing programs and provide feedback about the design, implementation, and effectiveness of programs;
- Maintain merchandising standards and work to influence space allotments and product visibility based on analysis of sales;
- Maintain up-to-date customer information and sales data in customer relationship management software (CRM);
- Participate in team meetings and provide the Sales management team with detailed local market intelligence as required;
- Remain apprised of industry trends and changes to the competitive environment;
- Planning and execution of brand awareness activations such as festivals, field events, and tastings in the territory to promote our brand and engage with customers;
**Qualifications**:
- Previous sales experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment is a strong asset;
- Experience executing sales plans;
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships, with internal stakeholders and external customers;
- Beverage alcohol industry experience would be considered a strong asset;
- Effective communication both written and verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
- Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility;
- Motivated self-starter that prioritizes being a team player, setting priorities, achieving results and managing time effectively;
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office;
- Must have a driver's License with a clean abstract;
- Must have Smart Serve certification or will obtain prior to commencement of employment;
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required;
- This role is 5 days per week in the field;
- Ability to lift 25 lb cases and various sized boxes periodically;
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
