Seeking a full-time **Accounts Payable and Payroll Administrator **to join our team

**Payroll and benefit administration**
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all salaried and hourly employees.
- Extract timesheets and review work hours for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure that hours are categorized and allocated to correct cost centers.
- Contact supervisors for any missed time punches and/or inquires related to time sheets.
- Adhere to all Payroll procedures, policies, employment standards, and collective agreements
- Add need employees ensuring all new employee paperwork is completed in full.
- Process employee benefits plan enrollments updates and cancellations.
- Processing government agency remittances; WCB return, T4s, ROEs, source deductions, etc.
- Reconciliations and journal entries for benefit and RRSP allocation, and payroll journal entries.

**Accounts Payable administration**
- Process all accounting functions related to Accounts Payable.
- Data entry of invoices for payment.
- Manage the weekly payment schedule; prepare cheque, EFT and wire payments (multi-currency transactions USD/CAD).
- Working knowledge and experience with 3-way matching.
- Reconcile, match, and record corporate credit cards.
- Prepare and enter month-end closing journal entries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Performs standard administrative tasks, preparing reports, maintaining records, filing.
- Preform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing need of the organization.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- 5+ years of payroll experience.
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience.
- High Level Experience with QuickBooks desktop.
- Knowledge of ADP payroll system is an asset.
- Full cycle accounting experience.
- Inventory software experience is an asset.
- Well organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
