**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and entertainment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services at competitive rates.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience for clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to execute events smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Answer our telephone on site to book reservations and respond to client's event inquiries

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers for optimal outcomes.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus but not mandatory.

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
