Abbotsford, Canada Maan Farms Full time

**Maan Farms Market and Estate Winery **is a destination for agritourism, events, local berries and wine, and a place for people to gather and make magical memories. We are seeking an experienced **Business Development & Events Coordinator** to join our growing team as we move into our busy season.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and oversee event packages, booking weddings and corporate gatherings
- Conduct competitor analysis to ensure competitive pricing and offerings
- Research and implement projects to expand product distribution
- Advocate for projects and drive initiatives forward in the face of multiple priorities
- Streamline processes for increased efficiency
- Contribute to discussions and decisions regarding the overall direction of the business
- Maintain and update online systems as necessary
- Source materials, supplies, and services to support events
- Support the Office Manager and Maan family with a variety of administrative tasks
- Provide on-site event support, including managing staff, problem-solving, and ensuring a seamless guest experience

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Demonstrated experience in business development, with a focus on events and hospitality
- Courteous, customer service oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Capable of navigating interpersonal relationships within a family business
- Strong time management, organization, and communication skills

**Education & Experience**:

- Graduated from high school with Dogwood diploma or equivalent
- Relevant college certificate/diploma or degree is considered an asset
- **Significant experience in administration and event management/planning is essential.**

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
