Position Summary:
The Dealership Controller will oversee the financial functions of our dealership, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This role is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who excels in managing complex financial tasks within the automotive industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- **Financial Management**: Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including but not limited to Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- **Reporting and Compliance**: Prepare timely monthly financial statements, ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines in financial reporting.
- **Cash Flow and Floor Plan Management**: Manage cash flow, oversee monthly floor plan reporting, ensure optimal utilization and timely payoff of vehicle floor plans.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Produce the annual budget and periodic forecasts, analyze performance, and suggest adjustments.
- **Payroll and Commissions**: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including sales commissions and bonuses.
- **Vendor and Stakeholder Management**: Maintain professional relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, manage timely payments.
- **Strategic Financial Advice**: Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the dealership.
- **Team Leadership**: Direct and develop the accounting team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial management role within an automotive dealership.
- Strong proficiency with financial management software, particularly Xero, or alternatively QuickBooks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and the financial sector's regulatory environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
