**Ottawa Plastic Surgery** has been the premiere practice for aesthetic, private plastic surgery in Ottawa since its inception in 1999. We have recently opened a spectacular full-service 8500 square foot cosmetic surgery centre on Bank Street South, providing on-site surgical procedures under general anesthesia and a full range of cosmetic and aesthetic treatments for our patients. We perform over 2,000 interventions yearly in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated full-time on-site controller to join our team, to help design and implement the financial management and administrative systems necessary to accommodate our expansion and to help us grow into our next phase We offer competitive compensation plus incentives, including a benefits plan, and a vibrant, collaborative, and experienced work environment that is unique in the Ottawa region.

**Overview**:
The Controller will oversee all aspects of the financial and administrative management of Ottawa Plastic Surgery, including payroll management, accounting, purchasing, inventory control and asset management. The controller will be an integral member of our management team bringing expertise in financial decision making, collaborating with our administrative, accounting, and bookkeeping team, and our nursing and medical directors on a regular basis.

**Reports to**: Medical Director

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Ensure accuracy of daily reconciliation of accounts
- Banking relationships
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Payroll auditing and management
- Asset management
- Purchasing order implementation and auditing
- Pipeline monitoring and management
- Customer relationship management system implementation
- Monthly tax submissions
- Maintain chart of accounts
- Create and manage revenue and cost centres

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Experience as a Controller or similar role for 3 years.
- Proficient in using accounting software.
- Experience in health care not required, but an asset.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Thorough knowledge of all relevant Federal, Provincial, and local requirements regarding financial records.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
