Who: Accounts Receivable Administrator or accounting professional with Accounts Receivable experience

What: Managing and administering tenant receivables for a portfolio of real estate properties on behalf of third-party owners

Where: Ottawa

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Daily responsibilities for portfolio:

- Review all property trust bank accounts on a daily basis for any new, and un-reconciled AR from tenants
- Post all new AR transactions for applicable tenants
- Process all cheques for tenants, as required
- Convert any tenants paying by cheque to e-transfer, direct deposit, ACH, or EFT Rent withdrawal
- Enter and update tenancy with any LAF’s (Commercial & retail)
- Monthly responsibilities for portfolio:

- Monthly EFT review and preparation for all applicable tenants
- Variance review of residential charge-ups, with explanations provided to direct reports for further review
- Review of all ACH residential rent pull (function is automated, so review is required
- Tenant Account maintenance, and review
- Tenant Correspondence - correspond with tenants directly, and resolve outstanding matters
- PM Reporting - managerial reporting compilation for our external clients (monthly and adhoc)
- Other duties and responsibilities during any given day of the month:

- N1 and N4 Notices
- Documentation such as default letters, demand letters, and tenant statements
- Tenant Move-in’s / Move-out’s
- Commercial and Retail tenants - LMR, and any other deposits
- Deposit interest calculations, and distributions
- Other duties as required

**Keys to success in this role are**:

- 2 to 5 years of relevant general accounting experience, Property Accounting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using Yardi Voyager Property Management software is preferred.
