**Role Summary**:
Leasing Consultants play a vital role and are the face of Old Oak at our new projects, starting the landlord/resident relationship off in a friendly and positive manner. Customers are treated with the highest level of care and respect, consistent with the Old Oak values. Leasing Consultants assist customers to ensure a seamless leasing experience right through to occupancy. They handle a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to leasing related administrative tasks, and require a strong, energetic enthusiasm about the product they are leasing. Leasing Consultants foster a team oriented, positive work environment to ensure a high level of customer and employee satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leasing & Sales_
- Meet with prospective residents and provide information on apartment and building offerings and availability.
- Check and report on condition of vacant units to Leasing Manager.
- Make approval/decline recommendations to Leasing Manager.
- Have a thorough understanding of both the current Residential Tenancies Act, and any future updates and changes.
- Stay up to date and educated on all current internal leasing policies, procedures and documents, and any future updates and changes.
- Administrative_
- Assemble and maintain stock of leasing marketing materials and lease packages.
- Photocopying of leasing and payment documentation.
- Filing of resident documentation.
- Communication / Customer Liaison_
- Complete Welcome Home Survey with new resident and other follow up surveys.
- Forward Welcome Home Survey results to Leasing Manager.
- Reception and Customer Service (as needed)_
- Answer phones and direct the calls or take messages.
- Assist walk-in customers as required, re-directing as needed.
- Receive debit payments.
- Assist with other reception and customer service duties as needed during lunch hours, breaks and vacations.
- Miscellaneous_
- Assist with resident insurance process.
- Assist Leasing Manager as needed.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the customer experience and present ideas to Leasing Manager.

**Working Hours**:
Standard full-time hours will cover any of the shifts below, with the expectation of 40 hours a week, not to exclude 48 hours a week:
**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Positive and friendly, while adapting quickly to new surroundings
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Clear criminal record check
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license/insurance
- Previous experience with the Residential Tenancies Act is preferred, but not required
- Good communication and comprehension skills both written and verbal English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
