The Health Workforce Strategy and Implementation Division of Ontario Health drives the advancement of health human resources (HHR) initiatives with a focus on building and optimizing health workforce capacity in critical health system areas, supporting priority populations through equitable access to HHR, building provincial HHR data repositories, maximizing and optimizing health professional recruitment supports, and providing crisis response/system stabilization solutions to HHR challenges.

Reporting to the Director, Health Workforce Integration, the Manager, IEHP Integration will manage a team within OH to the support the integration of IEHPs into the health system within Ontario. The incumbent manages multiple, complex and interconnected integration supports for IEHPs living in and coming to Ontario, including establishing and overseeing a centralized hub in Ontario to access information and guidance on pathways to licensure and registration, and leading the development of resources and tools to support the dissemination of career options to work within the health care system with the goal to direct workforce capacity to where it is most needed in the system.

Working in collaboration with other teams within the Health Workforce Strategy and Implementation Division and across OH, the incumbent is responsible for fostering relationships with key provincial partners (such as education and training programs, regulatory colleges, community based-organizations, and professional associations), extensive stakeholder consultation and relationship building, client services standards, program implementation and delivery, program platform development and optimization, budgeting, reporting and leading a large high-performing team.

The Manager, Internationally Educated Health Professional will lead work in several key areas:
Key deliverables:
- Lead the conceptualization, development, implementation, and management of a provincial hub for IEHPs seeking information and guidance on optimal pathways to become registered as a health professional and/or work within the health care system- Drive development of content specific resources for priority professions including webinars, guides and toolkits- Work in partnership across Health Workforce Strategy and Implementation to leverage HHR programs and incentives to support the integration of IEHPs through existing programs- Work in partnership with OH Regions to support regional integration initiatives, including employer led initiatives.- Work in partnership with regulatory colleges, MOH and MLTC, associations and employers to conceptualize, create and expand workforce integration pathways for IEHPs- Lead the conceptualization, development, implementation, and management of profession-specific integration resources (toolkits, guides and webinars) for IEHPs and health service providers- Oversight of communication channels related to IEHP initiatives with a large and diverse group of external stakeholders and clients, including health professionals, health service providers, education programs, community and professional associations and regulatory authorities- Lead IEHP related content development for the OH Health Human Resource Knowledge Hub- Creation of targeted recruitment campaigns for eligible rural, remote and Northern communities or HSPs in collaboration with regions and aligned with local recruitment efforts- Support HHR Equity related initiatives related to IEHP integration- Track, monitor and communicate project progress and deliverables against ABP and department requirements, KPIs and quality measures- Manage financial targets for funded programs and all OH allocated costs- Identify and manage risk using a structured risk management process within the context of the programs- Represent OH at external meetings pertaining to HHR program
