**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Advance and implement strategies and guidelines for faculty and staff to integrate international content into curriculum and co-curricular activities
- Research best-practices in international education for post-secondary institutions, and make recommendations for required training and supports
- Develop training materials on relevant international education topics such as intercultural competencies and anti-oppression/anti-racism in international contexts
- Lead events where international guests are invited to share global perspectives on contemporary issues in global education for faculty, staff, and students
- Design and implement faculty training materials on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Internationalization at Home
- Develop a framework for an internationalization certificate/online course for educators
- Work with the IPCO team to promote awareness and value of existing internationalization initiatives, priorities, and values across the institution
- Integrate creative approaches to internationalizing curriculum training materials specific to art and design pedagogy
- Collaborate with the IPCO team to assure these new materials are integrated in a sustainable way with our program cycles and wrap around services
- Help identify how existing and new international partners can be integrated in this resource development process, including potentials shared toolkits
- Support the Manager in other related duties that contribute to the successful operation of the Office of International Programs & Collaboration

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in international education or a related field
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in international education at the post-secondary level
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and educational best practices.
- Experience in designing and delivering intercultural and/or equity training
- Proficiency in COIL and Internationalization at Home methodologies
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity and diversity and proven experience promoting a respectful work and learning environment for students, faculty, administrators, counsellors and support staff
- International teaching experience is an asset
- Background in art and/or design is an asset

**Compensation**:OPSEU Unit 1, Appendix B, Grade B2; $36.77 to $48.33 per hour

**Hours of Work**:Monday to Friday, for a total of 21 hours per week. This is a part-time, temporary contract expected to continue until March 31, 2025
