Installation Coordinator

**Reports To**

Operations Manager

**Summary**

This position is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all installation projects including continuous discussions with Manufacturers, Trade Partners and customers throughout. Through the course of their duties, the Installation Coordinator will also be expected to follow all existing processes while working towards developing, presenting and implementing other processes to improve the overall efficiency of the department.

**Job Duties**
- Consistently communicating with manufacturing to ensure lead times are established and met
- Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of installation projects (Mechanical Trade Partner, Electrical Trade Partners, Internal requirements and any safety equipment requirements)
- Ensure all equipment and materials are in place and fit for use
- Maintaining or improving job profitability in any area if possible
- Consistent communication with customers throughout the entire installation process
- Project closure and associated costs allocations
- Work with and communicate with internal departments to ensure all parties understand their responsibilities and are on task
- Demonstrate in-depth process and system knowledge
- Develop and assist in the implementation of continuous process improvement ideas
- Application of continuous improvement techniques to improve installation and administrative processes (i.e. throughput, equipment reliability, product quality, and etc.)
- Develop process and tracking metrics to monitor continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop internal improvement solution proposals including baselines, project timelines, resources requirements, progress tracking / sustaining and etc. to realize benefits
- Measure the gains made with quantifiable cost analysis
- Perform Shared Leadership responsibilities when appropriate
- Performs other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Previous experience in Project Management would be an asset
- Excellent process analysis and problem / opportunity identification skills
- Solid understanding of geography to ensure efficiency is maintained
- Decisive; able to clearly and succinctly communicate related information
- Approachable and supportive within work environment
- Strong organizational skills

**Working Conditions**
- Office setting primarily
- May require visiting job sites from time to time
- Working within a group and/or as an individual
- Fast paced, quick changing
