**Position Overview**:
As a Manager for Building Automation Installation, you will be crucial in overseeing and coordinating the installation of building automation systems for our clients. Building automation systems integrate various technologies and components to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of buildings. Your role will involve leading a team of installation technicians and the subcontractors, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring the successful implementation of automation solutions according to project specifications and timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:

- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Develop detailed installation plans, considering system layout, equipment placement, wiring, and integration.
- Allocate resources effectively and assign tasks to installation technicians to meet project milestones.

2. Team Leadership and Supervision:

- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of installation technicians to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide guidance, training, and technical support to technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor team performance, track progress, and address any issues that arise during installations.

3. Technical Expertise:

- Possess a deep understanding of building automation technologies, systems, and components, including HVAC, lighting, security, access control, and energy management.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide installation processes.

4. Installation Oversight:

- Coordinate the installation of automation components, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and communication devices.
- Ensure accurate wiring and connections following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct quality checks and tests on installed components to verify proper functionality.

5. Client Communication:

- Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing any questions, concerns, or updates related to the installation process.
- Provide regular project status updates to project managers and stakeholders.

6. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure that installation activities adhere to safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Implement safety protocols and practices to prevent accidents and incidents during installation.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, equipment used, and any modifications made during the process.
- Generate installation reports and documentation for project documentation and future reference.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in managing and leading installation teams, preferably in the building automation or construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of building automation systems, components, and installation practices.

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.

Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CEDIA, BICSI, LEED) are a plus.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
