As an Education Project & Service Coordinator at Diversified you will be working directly with our clients which are k-12 schools and school districts, private schools, and colleges / universities across Canada. This market is developing rapidly as technology needs in the classroom evolve and we are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team.

Our service offering includes installation, product training, repair and maintenance of projectors and displays, audio systems, digital signage systems and school paging and communication systems.

This role is a hybrid role working primarily from home but with one day per week in-office presence required. In addition, this role is based out of our Canadian Headquarters located in Mississauga, Ontario.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Perform the function of Project & Service Coordinator providing support to clients, opening service tickets as needed, RMA’s and coordinating with service technicians and manufacturers to close / resolve them quickly.
- Assume responsibility for the coordination and scheduling of all Classroom Installation projects including entering the jobs into our scheduling system called TEAM, communicating with the schools to arrange access, scheduling technicians / electricians to conduct the work and then ensuring client is satisfied with the end result.
- Review TEAM to filter Jobs that have shipped and contact Schools / Clients to confirm delivery of equipment and map out installation schedules.
- Ensure site conditions are met prior to scheduling a job, coordinating with the shipping department to ensure equipment, parts, cables, accessories etc., are shipped out prior to scheduling a job.
- Coordinate directly with clients to evaluate their needs and create custom on-site visits and site inspections as needed.
- Manage appropriate resource scheduling for all required project tasks.
- Manage internal and external project communication and documentation by keeping accurate files and records of project status and activities.
- Respond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner as directed.
- Understanding formal escalation and review processes.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and the technical team.
- Assist Account Managers with the preparation of quotes and work orders from both a technical and labor requirement perspective.
- Efficient execution of Classroom Installation projects with control on costs and respect of established budgets.
- Ability to maximize efforts daily, without daily supervision.
- Monitor inventory of parts to ensure stock availability for both standard and project specific.
- Monitor project progress and report status updates to clients and internal teams.
- Review projects each morning and ensure they are closed out and can be invoiced in a timely manner.

**The successful individual will have the following characteristics**:

- Preferably a University Degree
- A true love of customers and a minimum 5 years of internal sales and support experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent written and spoken English. Ability to speak French is an asset.
- A customer focused attitude and ability to solve customer problems independently.
- Personable phone demeanor.
- Basic computing skills.
- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail and follow-up skills a must.
- Ability to follow through with tasks given by colleagues and complete them on time.
- A genuine passion for technology and the desire to study and learn about new products.
- Desire and drive to be successful.
- Ability to understand basic business mathematics, including percentages and margins.

We offer a competitive compensation package which is dependent on qualifications.

Packages are comprised of a base salary plus performance bonuses in addition to a company benefits plan.

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
