**Description**: A survey of novels, plays, poetry, and essays, written from the 1900 to present day, by authors who either self-identified or currently identify as gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or queer.

Sessional Lecturer I: $18,915.79

Sessional Lecturer III- Long term: $21,140.03

**Minimum qualifications**:
A background in queer literature and theory at the graduate level with a PhD or strong academic record in the field is required. Previous teaching experience in the field preferred. Preference shall be given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or III by the Department of English.

**Description of duties**: All duties associated with teaching an undergraduate course, including preparing the course outline, syllabus and lectures, delivering lectures, developing, marking and administering course assignments, tests & exams, holding regular office hours
