**Regional Sales Representative - Toronto - Fire Protection Industry (B2B**)

As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the assigned territory. You will actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with customers, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Working closely with the V.P. of Sales, the Customer Service Manager, and the Inside Sales team, the Regional Sales Representative will build a strong working relationship with our suppliers, current customer base, and new accounts.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets within the assigned region.
- Meets and exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Identify and prioritize potential customers and sales opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the market, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify key opportunities and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding their needs, providing product or service information, and offering appropriate solutions.
- Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
- Actively manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Responsible for all sales activities including obtaining blueprints, follow-up on discrepancies, estimated completion, and delivery dates through the lifetime of each project.
- Obtains quote listings, prepares accurate quotes, assists with drawing take-offs, proper completion of customer information, and modifies quotes as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, customer support, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using our CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecast to track progress and communicate performance to management.
- Analyses and provides remedies for problem areas related to customer service, product availability, and deficiencies.
- Works closely with the purchasing department on inventory availability and pricing.
- Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to provide feedback and insights for product development and marketing strategies.
- Continuously update product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends through training programs and self-study.

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary Education either College/University Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum three - five (3-5) years with proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B (business-to-business) environment.
- Fire Protection product and industry knowledge (steel pipe, sprinkler systems, equipment and materials, fire hoses are an asset).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and effectively convey product information.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills to secure deals and achieve sales targets.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot) and sales reporting tools is an asset.
- Willingness to travel within the assign region as necessary.
