RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
CANTRAIN is a national clinical trial training program (CTTP) in response to a call by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR). Its vision is to offer the best, certified and standardized clinical trials’ training and mentoring program across Canada accompanied by Internships for Trainees in a real-world setting.

General Duties
- Act as main point of contact for administrative related requests and take actions,
- Manages mail and all orders,
- Drafts and translates communications, memos and reports, as requested, that relates to orders,
- Prepares and sends payment and purchase requests and prepares financial documents,
- Maintains database(s) related to orders and finances,
- Assists in the administration of financial activities: help to prepares / review annual budgets, monitors, accounts, period closures, invoice payments, prepares quotations and contracts,
- Acts as a first point of contact for divisional-related questions,
- Liaises with other divisions and external organizations,
- Provides administrative assistance to the Executive Director and COO in coordinating agenda and appointments related to Transfer Funding Agreements (TFA) across the national network,
- Participates to planning special events and activities,
- Performs any other duty as required.

Education / Experience
- Degree in Administration, Communications or other related field, and/or equivalent experience of five (5) years,
- Demonstrated experience with and ability to design (agenda) and execute invitations towards virtual and in-person meetings,
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in an empathetic manner using clear, simple and sensitive language, in both French and English,
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects efficiently,
- Ability and willingness to work extra / evening hours,
- Ability and willingness to travel within Canada 2-3 times per year.

Additional information

**Status**: Temporary, full time, one-year renewable

**Pay Scale**: $42,060 to $63,099 per year.

**Work Shift**: Hybrid: In person 3 days / week, then telework.

**Work Site**: 5 business days (minimum)
