We're currently seeking a dynamic Junior Sales Assistant to join our team and support our district sales staff in various capacities.

**Position Overview**:
As a Junior Sales Assistant at Jenny's Delectables, you will play a vital role in supporting our district sales team with administrative tasks, sales support, and customer interactions. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including filing, phone support, assisting with special events showcasing our products, customer fundraisers, client support and handling administrative duties associated with the sales department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the district sales team, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers at locations where our products are sold.
- Assist in sales support activities, including answering phones, responding to customer inquiries, and processing orders.
- Participate in special events showcasing and selling or sampling our gourmet food products.
- Handle tasks associated with sales department administrative duties, such as preparing sales reports and maintaining customer databases.
- Conduct local travel as required to support sales initiatives and events.
- Maintain a clean driving abstract and possess driving experience for occasional travel day/overnight requirements.
- Proactively engage with customers through phone calls, check-ins, and follow-ups to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Take ownership of the sales process from order entry to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and be a quick learner in using company software and systems.
- Exhibit great attention to detail in all tasks and interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people and handle conflict effectively.
- Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Show potential for long-term growth within the company.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a sales or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Clean driving abstract and driving experience preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability required.
