Divisional Controller

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide positive and professional leadership to finance team members to support Brandt’s strategic goals.
- Develop a strong understanding of Brandt’s operations and industry to contribute strategic financial advice to leaders across the business.
- Oversee the issuance of monthly and annual financial statements and reporting packages for the Division.
- Oversee the annual audit process, ensuring timely preparation of deliverables for the external auditors and to the Manager of Financial Reporting, for completion of the consolidated audited statements and income tax returns.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in supporting the annual operating and capital budget process.
- Partner with functional departments and operations to improve current processes.
- Provide analysis as required to drive improved decision making.
- Specific projects and other related duties as required.

- Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital to the role.
Required Experience
- University degree in Business/Accounting/Finance with Professional Designation (CPA).
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with the last 5 years in a management role.
- Extensive hands-on experience in working directly with operations, with high volume transactional processing demands.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
