**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY**

The Divisional Industrial Sales Manager reports to the General Manager. The incumbent is responsible for increasing market share, sales volume and gross margin dollars. Responsible also to remain as a viable leader through securing long term contracts and reaching the most lucrative customers to obtain optimal sales volumes in the industrial sector. Works closely with supplier and maintains positive relations. He/She is responsible for cultivating key business relationships at a lateral level with customers / suppliers through the creation of marketing and strategic sales plans. The District Industrial Sales Manager is also responsible for improving the organization’s competitive position through related marketing plan objectives.

**SUMMARY**

The Divisional Industrial Sales Manager is in direct contact with customers and suppliers’ sales force. He/She is responsible for the coordinating the development of strategies, and advertising and promotional programs and ensure execution of these programs. These programs will be executed though formal presentations utilizing computer skills as SalesForce, PowerPoint, BI InfoAssist & Excel.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY**

The Divisional Industrial Sales Manager directly coordinates the overall marketing programs for the assigned technical supplier’s products along with our unique packing solutions. He\she supervises the activities of the Regional Automation Sales Managers as well as our Industrial Projects, Packaging Solutions and Services Teams.

He/She carries out these responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

**1 DUTIES**
- Constructs marketing plans through proposals and presentations to assist the technical sales department in identifying profitable markets and provide a common identity to all customers. Devises programs to maximize profits and ensure a lucrative business. Ensures strategic plans and promotions implemented are in harmony with the goals of the company.
- Identifies potential markets and customers by creating quality advertising to meet immediate and forecasted needs. Develops a common thread of high value for services and products supplied by establishing an impression of high quality in the industry.
- Creates and maintains an open line of communication with suppliers to secure a competitive edge in the market. Ensures productivity levels by making evident problems and concerns that may inhibit sales. Constructs action plans to improve sales and profit figures.

**2 HUMAN RESOURCES**:

- Provides direction, coaching and leadership to the sales force. Creates a healthy environment where staff can perform to their maximum potential.
- Offers input in the coordination and monitoring of recruitment, training and performance management within territorial area.
- Maintains a positive work climate and resolves concerns or complaints. Offers feedback to resolve problems and concerns encountered with customers and suppliers.

**3 ASSET MANAGEMENT**:

- Prepares implementation schedules to meet customer requirements and investigates cost reduction measures without affecting performance.

**4 BUDGET & FINANCIAL CONTROL**:

- Offers recommendations, changes, and improvements in assigned product lines based on market conditions.
- Compiles sales reports to assess performance and create new levels and strategies to meet budgeted figures

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**:
At minimum a Community College education plus ten (10) years related experience in the industry and within industrial position capacities including at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

**COMMUNICATION / COMPREHENSION SKILLS**:
Ability to read and interpret relevant documents such as contracts, specification sheets and manuals. Ability to write reports, correspondence and contracts to suppliers, customers and management. Ability to speak effectively with customers and suppliers and negotiate contracts. Also required, presentational, motivational and training skills.
