**Position title**: HR Coordinator (temporary contract 6 months) - possibility of permanency

**Location**: Montreal (hybrid)

**Reports to**: Manager, Human Resources

Human Resources’ mission is to support Corporate Services personnel in Montreal in all activities related to human resources management, such as staffing, compensation, employee relations and human resources development, with a view to upholding the company’s business strategies and facilitating the achievement of organizational goals.

**Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Prepare all required documents related to the employee life cycle, such as hire, departure, leave of absence (STD/LTD, family leave), job creations, employee status, salary review and structure changes, while ensuring process compliance and information accuracy;
- Be responsible for the onboarding process for new employees, update data and documentation, and see to the continuous improvement of the process;
- Ensure the follow-up of STD/LTD and family leave. Liaise with the employees and different service providers for these various types of leave;
- Support the HR team in different areas, such as job postings, the pre-employment process, preparation of job offers and the coordination of training sessions;
- Act as the First Aiders Representative on the Health and Safety Committee and coordinate all their activities;
- Participate in the production of various reports and HR indicators;
- Participate and provide support in HR special projects (Social Activities Committee, children’s Christmas party, etc.);
- Contribute to the HR team’s ongoing client service excellence through teamwork, innovation and process improvement.

- You are autonomous, dynamic, flexible and attentive to detail;
- You are known for your ability to identify, analyze and solve problems;
- You like to stay abreast of HR trends and best practices;
- You possess practical knowledge of Quebec and Canada labour legislation.

**Professional Experience/Qualifications**:

- You hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or industrial relations, or any other training in a similar area of study;
- You have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar HR position;
- You must be fluent in English and **French**, both oral and written;
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (knowledge of SAP is an important asset);
- Professional certification in human resources is an asset.
