A Mighty Lamb Production specializes in the hottest emerging artists and bands from around the world through their platform BREAKING SOUND. They are located in the US, UK, NZ, Ireland, Iceland, Tel Aviv, and AUS

ROLE: The Assistant Talent Booker is responsible for assisting, coordinating and executing Breaking Sound events and showcases. The team strives to ensure all events are rewarding and memorable for performers, along with a great experience for audiences.

POSITION TITLE: Assistant Talent Booker

LOCATION: Toronto

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assisting in booking Breaking Sound showcases in the Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver area
- Assist in ticket services and ticket updates
- Assist in Artist booking and outreach, helping the company in its goal of creating diverse and interesting line-ups
- Attend showcases to assist with event operations and act as artist liaison
- Responsible for assisting in all pre and post-show communications with artists
- Assist team with related tasks and assignments as needed

A Mighty Lamb Production is looking for an ambitious and creative team member who puts forth the drive to achieve goals and exceed them. We are looking for a well rounded person who thinks outside of the responsibilities listed above.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Essential:

- Proven interest in music, art, live events, or music festival culture
- Well versed in the Canada music scene
- Well organized, process driven and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines and solving problems under pressure
- able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects in a fast pace environment
- 20 hours per week
- efficient with Google spreadsheets
- eager, moves quickly, and takes initiative
- Must be 19+ and located in Toronto

In addition to having fun and learning about live music production and in-house agency processes, you will gain precious real-world experience in your field, as well as learning important time management and project organization skills. From concept to completion, you will have the opportunity to work with various bands and artists from around the world.

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
