Toronto, Canada H2O Float Studio Full time

H2O Float Studio is currently looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager for our location in the Distillery District at 25 Mill St. Previous spa experience is essential for this position.

As Assistant Manager you will support the day to day operations of our Studio, focusing on achieving a high level of customer service, while managing essential onsite staff support.

The Assistant Manager must be able to motivate staff and provide hands-on support - reporting to the owners. Must be collaborative, while guiding staff to operate at peak efficiency through coordination, communication and cooperation. Possess a friendly, outgoing personality to quickly develop rapport with new and existing clients.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a long term position, has strong leadership qualities, is self-motivated, with excellent customer service and sales skills, who is interested in growing with our company.

This is a part time position; that requires availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and on call shifts. **Saturday availability is a must.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Have a strong understanding of Floatation therapy, as well as our other services, including float room procedures and the benefits of floating, being able to speak knowledgeable with clients and staff
- Interviewing, hiring & training; oversee and assist the front desk & cleaning staff, including helping to handle periods of high call and visitor volume as needed
- Oversee front desk communication with clients for accuracy of services, procedures and booking, confirming all appointments.
- Provide and exemplify the highest caliber customer service, and assist in client resolution by solving guest grievances in an effective, professional and courteous manner - alerting owners on refunds, complimentary services, booking errors, etc., as they occur.
- Knowledgeable with sales & marketing client incentives; informing staff, insuring information is properly provided to clients upon booking or in Studio.
- Balancing end of day cash sales; handle deposits, petty cash, and order corrections
- Daily water maintenance testing, tracking & resolving any issues. Ensuring the logging of each test is done. Alerting owners to any significant issues.
- Complete all necessary administration required and implement processes for staff; water maintenance, cash log balances, key & lock, sandals counts, tracking systems, etc.
- Trouble shooting computer issues, Booker Software System and research options for new software when required
- Trouble shooting Studio maintenance issues & repairs, communicating with owners.
- Monitor Studio efficiencies, productivity, cost savings, researches opportunities to improve each of these areas
- Understands, implements, and enforces company policies and works with staff to make sure that they are followed
- Conduct employee reviews, write-ups, advise and recommendations to owners
- Good working knowledge of Studio supplies and retail products, resource alternative options if required
- Submitting order requirements of Studio supplies to owners as required. Maintaining the inventory for such supplies & retail products on a monthly basis
- Responsible for the submission of all mail, packages to owners, in a timely manner as required

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Education/Experience Requirement**
- Post-secondary education preferred
- **Superior leadership, coaching and communication skills.**:

- Strong administrative skills and ability to multi-task and set work priorities.
- Experience in conflict resolution.
- **Attention to providing a high level of customer service is essential.**:

- Ability to exercise a high level of tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Familiarity with Floatation Therapy & Booker Program is an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 28 per week
