**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Act as the key resource for the neonatal life support programs - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and the Acute Care of the at-Risk Newborn (ACoRN) program.
- Coordinate the development of Canadian neonatal life support recommendations and education materials.
- Coordinate the activities and membership of the NRP and ACoRN Steering Committees, Executives and Subcommittees.
- Develop and maintain budgets for NRP and ACoRN.
- Maintain necessary contracts with partners and suppliers.
- Monitor customer support line and provide timely response to clients.
- Maintain a national database and program websites.
- Coordinate national grant programs for NRP and ACoRN.
- Coordinate neonatal life support education activities (e.g., Resuscitation Club, launches, etc.)

**EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION(S) & EXPERIENCE**
- Post-secondary education / training in administration, or related field, required
- 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in not-for-profit sector

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**

The Canadian Paediatric Society uses the Microsoft Office suite of products and all staff are required to be proficient in the use of these tools. In addition, the position must have:

- Strong program administration and project management skills and experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are mandatory.
- Creative with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with mínimal direction, exercising a high level of discretion and judgment.
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL**

The majority of the work performed at the CPS is in a clean and comfortable office environment. Alternate work arrangements are available, including hybrid work options.

The position includes some travel and some overtime on an infrequent basis to meet deadlines.
