**JOB TITLE : TMS Technician, Community Mental Health Clinic (TMS Life)**

**Location**: Suite 300, 250 City Centre, Ottawa, ON

**Job Type**: Full-time, in-person (no remote work available)

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

You'll be at the forefront of innovation, delivering TMS treatments that have the power to change lives. From setting up equipment to administering treatments with precision and care, you'll be the linchpin in our clients' journey to wellness. You'll also play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with fellow professionals to ensure our clients receive comprehensive care that addresses their unique needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct transcranial magnetic stimulation treatments according to established protocols.
- Ensure accurate placement of the TMS coil for targeted brain stimulation.
- Conduct Motor Threshold procedures.
- Monitor patients during TMS sessions to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Build rapport with clients and check-in daily regarding mood and functioning.
- Document treatment sessions and report any adverse effects or unusual responses.
- Work closely with psychiatrist, registered nurse, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High School Graduate (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Bilingual (En/Fr) (required)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, appropriate boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- First Aid and CPR/AED Certification (Must be obtained prior to starting work).
