**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Planning and Management**:

- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Coordinate all aspects of event execution, including venue selection, catering, décor, entertainment, and staffing.
- Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and teardown.
- **Client and Stakeholder Communication**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements for each event.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the planning process.
- **Vendor Coordination**:

- Source and negotiate with vendors to secure cost-effective, high-quality services.
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:

- Develop promotional strategies and materials to drive event attendance.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure events are effectively publicized.
- **Problem Solving and Risk Management**:

- Anticipate and address potential issues to ensure smooth event execution.
- Resolve on-site problems quickly and efficiently.
- **Post-Event Analysis**:

- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and identify improvement areas.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing event outcomes and financial performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Planner, with a strong portfolio of successfully executed events.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with Toronto’s venues and vendors is a plus.
