- As an Account Manager, you will be instrumental in growing and managing sales within your designated territory. If you possess a deep understanding of the sales process and excel at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals, we want to hear from you. This role reports to the Sales Manager.
- **Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:_

Develop marketing/sales opportunities in your territory.
- Proactively identify and develop marketing and sales opportunities within your designated zone.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.

Customer engagement and sales visit
- Conduct daily or short/long-term trips to visit new and existing customers within your territory.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular interactions.

Sales goal achievement
- Set and strive to achieve ambitious sales goals in alignment with your sales manager.
- Continuously monitor each account in our system and take corrective actions to meet or exceed sales objectives.

Prospect identification and qualification
- Identify and evaluate prospective customers, set appointments, and conduct effective qualifying sales calls.
- Handle objections and concerns effectively with your sales manager, addressing customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

Product knowledge and demonstrations
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's products, inventory, and offerings.
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers to showcase the value and benefits of our products.

Merchandising and display management
- Deliver, set up, and update display racks, sample boards, and other promotional materials as needed for clients.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge training to clients.

Problem Resolution
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer concerns.
- Resolve customer problems and issues by investigating, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations with your sales manager.

Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management
- Proactively manage ongoing communication with clients to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address any issues that may arise both pre-sale and post-sale, ensuring customer needs are met.

Market Analysis and Competitor Monitoring
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure company standards are met in your territory.
- Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and regularly monitor competitor activities to stay competitive.

Order Processing and Communication
- **Qualifications**:_
- Be able to lift 50 pounds for tasks involving loading samples and marketing materials.
- Strong Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Demonstrated organizational skills, time management, and multitasking are essential. Analytical thinking, math skills, strong memory, and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Be available to pick up calls from customers and coworkers after regular work hours, including Saturdays. Flexibility in work hours and availability for long-distance travel is essential for this role.
- **Education & Experience**:_
- High School Diploma or higher education
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Valid Driver's License is required
- Bonus Experience in distribution sales and flooring industry
