*Job Overview*

We are in search of a dynamic Accounting Manager who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is ready to be a part of something bigger as this company grows. Our client is a wholesaler in the lighting industry. As a new business, 2+ years revenue has more than doubled year over year. If you are looking to start on the ground floor working with a growing family run business, this is the position for you. Working closely with the President/ Owner, you will grow to be his right hand. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. To start this is for an Accounting Manager who is happy to roll up his sleeves and do what must be done. As the business grows it will be your opportunity to grow your accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic financial decisions of the organization.

*Responsibilities*
- Manage and oversee the daily financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform budgets, cashflows, rolling projections, and analysis of variances
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics, implement process control systems to mitigate risk
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliation
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
- Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers & banks

*Requirements*
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, an accounting designation an asset
- Ideally have experience within the wholesale industry
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP system
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently

Pay: $75,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
