**What you'll be doing**
The Credit Analyst will approve of new accounts, set credit limits, control the receivable issues and work with the customer to keep their account open and clear.
**CREDIT ANALYST ACTIVITES**
Approve accounts—review files and reports to make a knowledge decision on the opening of an account and/or job account. Set the credit limit but require the Credit Manager signature for requests in excess of 50k.
Maintain accounts—review credit limits and make necessary changes to credit limits. Approve all address, phone, personnel changes. Record all activity on an account i.e., CRM.
Releasing CL’s (credit holds) - release daily CL’s, once reviewed and correct account credit limits that require updating.
Resolve issues for payment: Identify (price, shortage, po-order match).
Legal files—gather the information required to move forward with a claim.
Process Payments for money received.
Reconcile daily cheques, branch deposits, direct deposits.
Charge cards
- process daily requests.
Write offs—prepare files with notes.
**CUSTOMER SERVICE/ COMMUNICATION**
Customer contact - be the liaison between the customer and sales for any issues that are keeping our customer from making their remittance in a timely manner.
**TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION**
Create and maintain a team atmosphere and ensure employee concerns are resolved
promptly.
**What you bring to the table**
High School graduate - College diploma in accounting preferred.
3 + years of credit experience within a multiple location environment.
