Job Summary

The Financial Data Analyst - Credit Reporting will be responsible for ensuring timely receipt and loading of credit reporting data from our data suppliers, maintaining data quality, customer satisfaction, and process improvement initiatives.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical background to join our team as a Financial Data Analyst - Credit Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a university degree or college diploma and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the credit or financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage all incoming data to ensure data integrity and quality controls are met, data is loaded within established timeliness, and any issues are escalated.
  • Work with customers to resolve data quality issues.
  • Ensure data suppliers are adhering to reporting and data quality standards and recommend data suppliers for termination for failing to meet account requirements.
  • Provide online training for customer onboarding, maintain registration information, and recommend enhancements based on customer feedback.
  • Generate and provide cumulative reports.
  • Manage and address incoming correspondence.
  • Review files from clients or from 3rd party suppliers containing financial data such as mortgage, collections, trade bankruptcies, personal data, or any other information supplied on a credit report.
  • Ensure service level agreements and other required time frames are met.
  • Identify operational redundancies and gaps within required standard operational procedure guidelines.
  • Assist internal teams with various interdepartmental projects, assist others in matters related to Data Acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable provincial and federal laws and TransUnion regulations.
  • Analyze output data, provide quality assurance, and production feedback to team members.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

This is a hybrid position, requiring regular performance of job responsibilities virtually and in-person at an assigned TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week.
