**JOB PURPOSE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Primary responsibilities and tasks:

- Data Collection & Management:

- Gather and maintain HR data from diverse sources (HRIS, databases, surveys).
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
- Act as the HR data steward and primary contact for all HR data management activities.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:

- Design, generate, and analyze regular and ad-hoc HR reports, identifying key trends and insights.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of HR metrics such as recruitment, retention, employee performance, and diversity.
- Workforce Planning & Strategic Analysis:

- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to forecast staffing needs and succession planning.
- Provide actionable insights on employee satisfaction, retention, and skill gaps.
- Lead the development of portfolio reporting, such as acquisition, attrition, and growth metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory:

- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and advise on KPIs that are meaningful, predictive, actionable and consistent across the business.
- Collaborate with HR functions (Recruitment, Compensation, Talent Management, etc.) to provide analytical support and inform decision-making.
- Advise on data improvement projects, governance, and secure data distribution practices.
- Tool Development & Implementation:

- Assist in developing and implementing HR analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure.
- Train HR staff on data usage, reporting best practices, and ensure data governance standards are met.
- Governance & Compliance:

- Create and maintain design documentation
- Prepare and submit compliance reports related to employment regulations.Support governance model and data documentation standards, ensuring quality and compliance in all data distribution and reporting

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional data analysis experience
- Strong understanding of metrics, reporting, and analytics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
- Comfortable to work as part of a team or independently

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree or certification in data analytics or data science.
- Familiarity with HR software (e.g., Oracle HCM), Power BI and databases.
- Experience with predictive analytics and data modeling.
- Knowledge of broader enterprise reporting platforms and the ability to integrate data sources across the organization.
- Experience in project or people management.HR experience an asset but not a requirement
