Toronto, Canada LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Full time

This role is in LSEG’s Global Travel Operations function. You will have the ability and skills to liaise with all levels of employees within the Group, along with the flexibility and can-do attitude the role dictates. The role is to lead travel operations within the AMERICAS region.

Responsible for all travel related aspects within AMERICAS of the London Stock Exchange Group. As the travel lead you will work closely with other Regional travel leads to help identify gaps in performance of travel services and identify resolutions to achieve defined SLAs and KPIs in an efficient and an effective manner in the best interest of the travelers, management and stakeholders. This position will involve coordinating with various internal stakeholders of the business & travel related suppliers.

This position is key to ensuring overall service delivery, cost optimization, risk mitigation, escalations and queries. The role requires an experienced, calm professional with significant relevant experience in the business travel industry.

& PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

To lead and participate in general travel matters with main focus on Travel Operations in the AMERICAS. To deliver projects within the matrix environment of the Travel Operations group in order to support LSEG business objectives, delivering optimal cost, value and customer satisfaction to the company.

To be an active team member and part of a global travel team with specific responsibility for AMERICAS, setting and keeping up to date internal travel policy, liaising with business units to streamline total cost operating model.

Must be able to influence/win support from senior management within other business units, including key suppliers outside the organisation.

Must have a clear understanding of stakeholder needs, company policies and technical aspects to communicate effectively, organise, develop and manage projects efficiently to deliver great service back to internal business clients. To organize roadshows and training where required.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITYSupplier Management

Develop and maintain supplier relationships within the region.

Arrange performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities.

Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements.

Stakeholder Management

Work with and across stakeholder groups to define needs and aggregate where possible.

Provide input to stakeholders on budget development based on market/supplier pricing.

Provide feedback to stakeholders and management regarding status of projects and initiatives.

Provide education and guidance to travelers regarding value of adopting and complying with travel policies, procedures, tools and processes.

General

Manage relationships with TMCs and travel suppliers

Ensure compliance to travel policy

Drive continuous improvement plans for travel program

Minimum Requirements

5+ years of proven travel management experience

Bachelors degree

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to effectively present to audiences at all levels of the organization

Customer orientated approach

Deep understanding of travel regulations, prevailing industry practices, major suppliers, and travel related technologies, such as online booking tools and GDS systems

Strategic and analytical thinker

Fluency in English

In depth knowledge of Concur Travel

Working knowledge of Sabre GDS a plus
