**This is a 12 month contract opportunity.**

**The impact you'll have**:

- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and desired outcomes. Collaborate with them to identify learning and communication objectives and design effective solutions that address their specific goals.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify skill gaps, performance deficiencies, and learning opportunities across the organization and use the gathered information to direct the development of tailored solutions.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations to customers, outlining strategies and tactics to help them achieve their training and communication goals.
- Develop high-quality, relevant content that aligns with learning and communication objectives and resonates with learners. Create question-based training content and other learning assets by leveraging the Axonify learning methodology.
- Design e-learning modules, including but not limited to videos, PDFs, SCORMs.
- Design and develop communication initiatives based on identified priorities, keeping in mind the target audience and any special customer requirements, such as tone of voice, etc.
- Conduct thorough reviews of client and peer content, including training plans, storyboards, and modules, to ensure they adhere to Axonify's best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking full ownership of content recommendations, setting realistic expectations with customers, and delivering all assets on time and within budget.
- Address customer objections and questions by referring to existing resources or escalating to the appropriate team members as needed.
- Lead or co-facilitate pre-designed workshops to guide customers through Axonify's best practices for content development, ensuring a deep understanding of platform capabilities.
- Partner with core customers to conduct content review/gap analysis; strategize and identify future training requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

**What you'll bring**:

- Post-secondary degree preferably with a specialization in English, Education, Adult Education, Instructional Design or a related discipline. Technical writing designations or related qualifications are considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning strategy development, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in customer-facing roles.
- Superior written and oral communication skills (writing, editing, facilitating).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Expertise in needs assessment, strategic planning, and learning solution implementation.
- Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers by confidently positioning themselves as an expert with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Confident in their ability to consult with customers to ensure a solid understanding of their needs.
- Clearly communicate with and support team members on projects and other internal team work.
- Experience conducting needs assessments to determine the learning need.
- Experience creating a variety of learning and communication assets.
- Familiarity with tailoring learning recommendations to suit different target audiences.
