Support Worker
**Duties**:
- Provide assistance and support to an autistic individual in the community and at home as needed
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing as neede
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Provide authentic emotional support and companionship to individual
- Must be able to swim, hike, enjoy museums and be willing to learn activities to support individual
- Must have a clean class 5 drivers license
**Experience**:
Understanding of Autism is important, but not necessary. A willingness to learn about Autistic people is a must.
A great sense of humour, patience and compassion is a must as well as seeing people for who they are.

This is not a care aide role, medical or health care position.
You must live in the Vancouver Metro area perferably close to the North Shore and a Canadian citizen and must provide a clean criminal record check and a clean drivers abstract before starting the training.
