**The salary range for this position is**:
**Recruitment range: $70,137- $77,330** starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.

**Performance range: starting salary to max of $91,214** is available through annual performance increases.
- Job SummaryReporting to the Director, Student Support Services, the Coordinator, Bookings and Accommodated Assessments is responsible for the oversight, scheduling, and delivery of accommodated assessments for students registered with the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL), supervising all invigilation services and staff. This includes supporting the development and implementation of systems and procedures that enhance collaboration with faculty, academic units, and other units within the Division of Student Affairs to deliver outstanding support services for students. The Coordinator, Bookings and Accommodated Assessments also oversees and provides guidance and support to Space Bookings staff responsible for booking classroom space for students, faculty, staff, and community groups.
- Job RequirementsThis position requires a bachelor’s degree with minimum of two years of related work experience and training in building and implementing programs and large-scale events in a post-secondary institution. An equivalent combination of education, training and work experience may be considered.

**Experience**:

- Experience in using room booking software to facilitate space reservations and coordinate event bookings within a post-secondary context.
- Successful track record in planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating large-scale services and programs.

- In-depth familiarity with university classrooms and buildings.
- Expertise in understanding the space booking needs of students, faculty, and staff.
- Knowledge of best practices in event and program planning and implementation.

- Solid understanding of the challenges, issues, and strategic directions within post-secondary institutions in British Columbia.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact professionally, tactfully, and diplomatically.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, make independent decisions, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and skillful problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff, particularly in emotionally charged or crisis situations.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective training programs and procedures.
- Proven experience in building strong relationships and collaborating with stakeholders responsible for varied functions and needs.
- Ability to work positively and professionally with the public and university staff both in individual and group settings, familiarity with a unionized environment.

Assets:

- Understanding of various collective agreements and diverse labor relations considerations. Knowledge of campus protocols and processes.

Additional requirements:

- Ability to work weekends and evening as required to support service offerings.
