Position Overview
As the Assistant General Manager, you will be the right hand to the General Manager, supporting all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations. You will play a key role in managing staff, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations, you will be involved in various other areas including recruitment, inventory, marketing, social media, ordering, and more.
This position offers a unique opportunity for leadership, growth, and creative involvement in shaping the direction of the restaurant. You will act as the Manager in Charge in the absence of the General Manager, making important decisions and maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a manager in the hospitality industry
- Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant supervisor or management role
- A passion for hospitality
- A confident leader who is able to make decisions in high stress situations
- Ability to problem solve,work efficiently, and remain calm under pressure
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and have a flexible schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Assist General Manager with daily operations
- Oversee restaurant functions, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise, train and develop Front of House staff
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist in the development and execution of the restaurant's budget
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours
- Assist with local marketing efforts, including promotions, social media, and event planning
- Provide backup and support to the General Manager in their absence

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
