**Sales Administrator**

Position Type: Full-Time, Monday
- Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (37.5 hours per week)

**Purpose**

As a Sales Administrator, your primary purpose is to bolster the Sales Team by providing comprehensive administrative support. Your role is pivotal in managing the influx of sales orders and inquiries, guaranteeing a seamless execution of administrative procedures, and maintaining a high standard of customer service excellence.

You will facilitate effective communication between the Sales Team and other departments, such as fulfillment and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of orders and fulfillment of customer expectations.

Additionally, you will focus on providing administrative support to key accounts and retail and wholesale accounts, particularly in the absence of your Sales Administrator colleagues or during periods of increased workload.

To excel in this role, you must possess strong organizational and communication skills, an ability to become proficient in the company’s software, and a steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and administrative assistance.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively with members of the sales team to offer administrative support.
- Provide outstanding customer service, using a “yes” first approach. You will communicate with a high degree of competency and proactivity to meet the needs of our customers. It is important that you develop a rapport with our customers, and the accounts you administer, to have a personalized approach and to better understand offerings that suit their business.
- Manage the process of receiving and processing orders. This involves filling in templates, purchase orders, labels, and invoices. Your role ensures that all documents are accurately processed and completed promptly.
- Monitor the orders inbox. Assist with incoming inquiries and order requests.
- Assist in the payment process for all retail sales by issuing credit card payments in the absence of your Sales Administrator colleague.
- Act as liaison between sales, fulfillment, and logistics to provide instructions and to ensure alignment of order details and requirements from a fulfillment, shipping, and delivery/pick-up perspective.
- Support logistics by preparing a daily delivery schedule, with essential customer information, and providing it to the driver making retail deliveries.
- Ensure confidential customer information is stored securely and safely.
- Offer additional support to the sales team to ensure the smooth operation of sales activities. This includes providing coverage when your Sales Administrator colleagues are out of the office.

**Preferred Skills and Capabilities**
- Completion of post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; or 1-2 years of administrative experience as an equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical capabilities to become proficient in the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
- Analytical capabilities with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capability of knowing how to prioritize tasks.
- Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of sales processes with a customer-centric approach.

**Additional Notes**
- Duties may not be limited to the job description.
- In this position, you will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- As the Sales Administrator, you will work a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Additional hours may be required based on the season.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
