**Here's the role**
As Manager of the PMO you will be responsible for overseeing the building and operational management of GMS's programs, including the development of innovative services, the planning of projects, as well as maintaining and driving communication with all program stakeholders. You will establish how the PMO is performing and how it may be improved. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical leads and Senior Leadership to ensure all projects that make up the PMO are running successfully.
**Position Responsibilities**
**PMO Leadership**
- Develop key services for the PMO including tools, techniques and processes that will be utilized company wide.
- Liaise between the business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Build partnerships with various industry stakeholders and leaders.
- Provide innovative expertise with program management, data (AI) and technology as GMS undergoes a significant digital transformation.
- Manage contracts and agreements with clients to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
**Program Management**
- Drive and execute on the Implementation of GMS's business and Digital Transformation.
- Track progress against multiple project milestones and hold others accountable for assigned tasks.
- Ensures quality of program work, including the value of projects that will service end customers.
- Drive internal and external program meetings while tracking action items.
- Identify any barriers to successful program execution and escalate as appropriate.

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position
- 5+ years of industry experience working on or running projects and/or programs.
- Broad knowledge of data (AI), technology and Insurance is a considered a strong asset.
