**An IT Support Coordinator at The Embassy is a junior technical coordinator** who is recently graduated or has a year of experience in all aspects of supporting our IT department in this temporary role. **They are a communicative team player; not afraid to ask for clarification and collaborate with our IT Manager. They are a resourceful problem-solver who enjoys taking ownership of demanding projects. You will maintain a high level overview of the status and quality of your team's progress.**

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
- Address users' tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking.
- Installing and configuring new (Windows / Linux) computers, notebooks, printers, multi-function devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including new hire account setup, Supporting Google-suite app for users, Linux basic troubleshooting and L1 networking support.
- Manage hardware and software assets
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to proper teams.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting via chat or phone
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Tracking reports and projects
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

**Requirements**:

- (preferred) One year proven work experience as a Jr Technical Support Engineer, L1 Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to follow IT documents and provide step-step technical help
- Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodologies, Z-central/Teradici
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
- Added certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
