**Your opportunity**:
Reporting to the centre Manager and under supervision of the Graduate Administrator, the Graduate Assistant will provide program and administrative support to students and faculty. The incumbent will also be responsible for organizing and digitalizing the centre's files and program materials,and assisting the Graduate Administrator with other relevant activities, as assigned, throughout the academic year.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Providing detailed information to students on programand/or course requirements
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Maintaining course information on student information systems
- Handling sensitive and/or confidential information
- Updating and maintaining records
- Scanning, filing and copying documents; maintaining filing systems

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum two (2) years of recent and related experience working in a graduate program in a post-secondary environment, providing administrative support
- Experience updating and maintaining records on online platforms, and ensuring accuracy
- Experience providing information to students and staff on programs and departmental processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of the University with emphasis on the School of Graduate Studies academic policies and procedures
- Demonstrated advanced working knowledge and experience with a wide variety of software, including MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, Quercus, Slate and eMarks
- Demonstrated experience in uploading and maintaining information on digital platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint
- Solid working knowledge of University student information systems: ROSI, ROSI Express, eMarks, Quercus and Slate
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet competing demands
