**Job Details**
- Reporting directly to the AVP - Residential Claims TD Insurance, the Group Manager - Complex Claims, will lead individuals specializing in complex residential claims. The Group Manager will be responsible for coaching and developing individuals to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achieved for the overall Claims group.
- As a Group Manager - Complex Claims, you will have the following key accountabilities:
- Lead a team of claims professionals with intermediate to high claims authority, handling moderate to complex residential claims, High Net worth and litigation claims
- Contribute to the business objective for Operational Excellence by adhering to mandatory compliance and audit requirements
- Understand and ensure business operation policies and procedures and legislation are met
- Proven ability to effectively handle day-to-day management decisions, determining the most appropriate course of action for resolution
- Proven ability to drive results
- Experience providing constructive feedback and coaching
- Excellent communication skills and manages change effectively within the team
- Proven ability to effectively work as a member of a team
Job Duties

- Participate in the recruitment and selection process of team members, as necessary;
**Job Requirements**
- Experience in complex residential claims and/or related claims experience (5+ years)
- Solid knowledge of the residential claims business and operational functions supported
- Undergraduate Degree
- Completion of CIP courses is an asset, but not required
- Previous leadership experience; experience leading through leaders.
- You possess excellent verbal/written communication skills in both English and French.
**Additional Information**
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
