**About Us**:
MSc Program Services oversees the operations, logistics, resourcing, and delivery of the MSc suite of programs. We seek to ensure through the work we control or influence to ensure Ivey’s MSc and MM Programs are recognized by peers, students and industry as world class.The CEMS program is a certification that can be sought by qualifying students in the MSc International Business Stream, and involves the coordination of 25-35 home Ivey students for the 16-month duration (with double cohort overlap starting each January), as well as 30-40 incoming exchange students in the fall term, an additional 30-40 incoming exchange students in the winter term, and all home students on outbound exchanges over the fall and winter term.

**Responsibilities**:
The Program Assistant (CEMS Program Coordinator) is responsible for supporting the effective and efficient administration of the CEMS (Consortium of European Management Schools) exchange program, a highly specialized graduate offering in affiliation with the International Business stream of the Ivey MSc program. The Program Coordinator will serve as a first-point of contact for all inquiries, and will provide information to students regarding orientation, program eligibility, program progression, student placement process, scheduling of various programs, examinations and graduation requirements. The Program Coordinator also participates in regular strategic goal setting and planning, as well as other duties as assigned.

In this role, the CEMS Program Coordinator ensures adherence to program standards for the CEMS program, curriculum and graduation requirements, as well as the requirements laid out by Ivey/Western, which will involve periodic training and monitoring for updates to both Ivey’s and CEMS’ governing bodies. The Program Coordinator supports a variety of logistic and strategic processes to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the department by identifying problems and analyzing situations using standard criteria; answering or re-directing inquiries as appropriate; and planning, coordinating and attending semi-regular in-person events and activities for the department, as well as twice annual international meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Education:
- 3-year community college diploma in Business Management/Administration or a related field
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Science preferred
- Courses taken in Project Management preferred
- Experience:
- 4 years’ experience providing coordination support and customer service; preferably in an academic environment
- Experience coordinating logistics of specialized programs/services/events; preferably in an academic environment
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Verbal communication skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience
- Demonstrated ability take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments
