**Summary**: The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is one of the leading events of its kind; with an annual attendance of 28,000 the OIAF attracts artists, producers, students, and animation fans from around the world. This is a unique opportunity to work on a major international event The OIAF Client Services Assistant will work with the Development Manager and Industry Relations team to plan and execute all aspects of the Festival related to community and business partnerships. This position involves aspects of outreach and communications, sales and advertising, events management, web content development and other tasks as required.

**Office Location**:Arts Court, 2 Daly Ave. Ottawa

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with existing OIAF stakeholders and assist with coordination and/or delivery of partnership benefits including social media or marketing exchanges, Festival passes, and other promotional items;
- Assist with a variety of event logistics tasks relating to sponsored events or other sponsorable assets;
- Ensure that the OIAF website and other relevant Festival communications have necessary and updated stakeholder information;
- Assist with coordinating the needs of stakeholders and VIPs before and during the Festival to help maintain good relationships;
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence, data management, and other clerical support tasks as needed;
- Assist in stakeholder appreciation outreach and reports after the Festival;
- Collaborate with other staff in different capacities as they arise.

- Strong listening and relationship management skills
- Great problem-solving and prioritization abilities
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective organizational skills and capacity to take initiative
- Strong computer literacy: ability to quickly learn new programs/platforms and take initiative to troubleshoot
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); French and/or other languages are an asset
- Previous sponsorship/stakeholder, marketing and sales experience an asset
- **Eligible to participate in Ontario’s Job Creation Partnership (JCP) program** by meeting the following criteria:An unemployed job seeker or those employed less than 20 hours per week (part-time students and graduates may apply)

Live in Ontario
Legally authorized to work in Canada

Have one, or both, of the following criteria:Established an Employment Insurance (EI) benefit claim (regular or maternity/parental benefits ONLY))
Paid employee payroll premiums, i.e., employed in Canada, in five of any of the last ten years.

**Remuneration**:
$620 (gross) per week for 32 hours ($19.275 average per hour) provided by the Province of Ontario.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $620.00 per week
