**The S2G Purchasing Team is Growing We are looking to hire a Purchasing Administrator**
This role is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the S2G USA Vendor Services team, and shall focus on tasks such as item setup, PO creation, product transfers, receiving, executing cost changes within S2G systems and reporting needs as directed by S2G team. The role shall also act as a backup to other S2G USA Vendor Services staff.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
***Purchasing Functions**
- Issue POs to vendors as directed by VP Purchasing/Senior Purchasing team
- Supply sales team with product information and assets as necessary
- Coordinate product deliveries to multiple DC points with S2G Operations/Traffic as necessary
- Review and verify the accuracy of receiving documents received from warehouse teams
- Post receipts into Great Plains systems.
- Process receipts and communicate the details of receipts and allocations to S2G sales admin teams.
- Communicate all receiving issues to the appropriate Operations and Purchasing team in a timely fashion
- Execute item setup within Great Plains and other S2G systems
- Review and take corrective action to fix inaccurate system data not meeting established standards
- Action transfers between S2G locations as directed by Vendor Services/Operations staff.
**Reporting & Price Protections**
- Prepare and deliver regularly scheduled reports to S2G vendors as directed by the Vendor Services team
- Prepare ad hoc reports for the Vendor Services team
- Revalue inventory in Great Plains ERP systems
- Prepare inventory reports for submission to vendors as part of price protection package
- Assist in creating, testing and implementing new tools to make daily tasks more efficient
- Assist in documenting, reviewing and implementing departmental processes
***Skills and Qualifications**:
- 2-3 Years of experience.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required (AA/BA degree a plus).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics Great Plains is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent math skills
- Knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese is an asset
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle stressful situations.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
