To be eligible for the SECURE Summer Student Program, you must meet the following requirements:

- Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid work permit.
- If you are selected for a role considered safety-sensitive, you will be required to successfully complete a Medical and/or Alcohol and drug test.

**Your Opportunity at SECURE Energy**

As our Summer Student - Sales you will be responsible for working closely with the Corporate and Field Sales teams by providing administrative support throughout the sales cycle, and helping facilitate sales and marketing activities. This position will be the point of reference for sales staff and colleagues, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation, and information.

This role is based out of the Calgary Brookfield office on a full-time, Monday to Friday schedule.

**The Team**

The team environment in this role is highly collaborative and supportive, with a focus on fostering strong communication and proactive problem-solving. You'll be working closely with the sales team to ensure smooth operations and successful execution of events and communications. **A Day in The Life**

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
- Planning and organizing industry events where SECURE is the host or an exhibitor, including trade shows, workshops, and summits.
- Compose and distribute customer communications.
- Ensure the accuracy of sales-related material.
- Support the sales team in assembling responses to RFPs, reviewing/renewing contracts, and other forms of written sales submissions.
- Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
- Undertake market, geographic, and competitor analysis for existing service lines.
- Ensure adherence to policies.
- Other duties and project-based work, as required.

**Skills, Experience, & Qualifications**
- Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- High proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with a Sales based CRM is an asset.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- High standards of discretion, ethics, and confidentiality to handle sensitive corporate and personal information and matters.
- Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive.
- A positive, self-motivated, and energetic team player attitude with a willingness to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure.
- An understanding of the principles, methods, and strategies used for promoting and selling services would be considered an asset.
- A strong commitment to safety.
