- Develop, implement and maintain HSE programs to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and Richemont Corporate (Group) Policies.
- **Committees**: Lead HSE initiatives through the Joint Health & Safety Committees and/or Health & Safety Representatives. Schedule and document meetings in accordance with regulations.
- **Inspections**:Conduct and/or coordinate inspections for each site to identify and address health, safety, and environmental hazards or risks.
- **Documentation**: Ensure required workplace postings are maintained at each site including up to date inventories of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- **Training**: Promote HSE awareness through on-going education, training and drills.
- **Assessments**: Conduct risk assessments and work site assessments throughout the Canadian network and support in the development of action plans to address/mitigate issues.
- Review and update legal register tool (ENHESA). Partner with local stakeholders to address new or existing compliance gaps for each location.
- Represent Richemont’s interests and maintain effective working relationships when dealing with external agencies (ex: MOL, WorkSafeBC, WSIB, and other government agencies) and liaise with internal teams to coordinate information as needed (ex. Legal, HR, etc.). Oversee and facilitate responses to all compliance orders, penalties, assessments or similar items.
- Prevent workplace injuries by leading an investigation process for all reported incidents, including root cause analysis and assignment of corrective action plans. Collaborate with HR to support return-to-work program for occupational and non-occupational illness/injuries.
- Provide administrative support with managing nationally contracted services, such as: Chemical Waste Disposal, Annual Fire Inspections, and First Aid Supplies replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with local accessibility regulations, including training, reporting, policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources, or other related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Required trainings: Certified Joint Health & Safety Committee Member and Standard First Aid
- Health & Safety-related designations an asset (ex. Canadian Registered Safety Professional _(CRSP) )_
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations (including Occupational Health & Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Human Rights Legislation, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Accessible British Columbia Act, etc.)
- Ability to write policies and procedures, and implement them
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local sites on a regular basis
