MaKami College is growing and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. If you are well-versed in the Moodle Learning Platform (or similar Learning Management System), this role may be an ideal fit for you.

**Key Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)**
- Assist in the setup and organization of courses within Moodle, including creating course shells, adding content, and configuring grading settings.
- Collaborate with content creators and instructors to ensure course materials are uploaded, accessible, and functioning correctly.
- Create and monitor students' sign-ups for workshops, labs, and other student events.
- Synchronize Master Calendars and student schedules on Moodle.
- Implement date-based restrictions for specific course components.
- Launch, monitor and collect data from students’ surveys on Moodle.
- Maintain accurate student records on Moodle.
- Upload new programs onto Moodle and assist with program curriculum updates.
- Assist the Moodle team with additional requests from students and staff.
- Foster strong relationships with students to address their learning needs.
- Assist with setting up classrooms (i.e., Labs, students’ orientations)
- Contribute to remediation activities for learners.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational aptitude with acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Proficiency in proofreading and editing.
- Dependable with a demonstrated ability for sound judgment and decision-making.
- Strong listening skills with an approachable demeanor.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

**Education and Experience**:

- Previous experience using Moodle or similar learning platforms is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
