ERCCA is posting for an Assistant Director position.

We are seeking energetic, creative, organized educators who would enjoy administrative tasks, working as a leader in a team setting and working directly in child care.

**Assistant Director
- Belgravia Site
- anticipated start date October 1, 2024**
This position will have a regular shift of 10-6 with some opportunity of flexibility in the schedule.

Due to the nature of this position, it is required the individual has reliable transportation.

**Key Responsibilities for the Assistant position**:

- Accountable to month end processes: children hours’/ staff hours;
- Act in the role of Director in the absence of;
- Accountable to maintaining, updating and entering new family information into TimeSavr;
- Auditing room checklists for compliance;
- Following the FLIGHT curriculum: creating learning stories and provide support to staff in their development of learning stories;
- Coach, mentor and follow the ASaP modal of social emotional development;
- Ensure children in care are kept in a safe environment, closely supervised, and all necessary ratio records and safety documentation is completed accurately;
- Ensure information is communicated to families and staff as it relates to the day to day operations of the centre ex: administration/ programming/ child guidance concerns etc.;
- Be a role model and leader in a team environment

**Qualifications**:

- Education/Certification/Credentials_

Standard First Aid and CPR-C, Police Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search.

Level II or III Certification

Food Handling Certification

WHMIS Certification

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
