We link the architect, owner and design team with 'real world' contractor experience to provide a design that is developed with cost, constructability and function as key related components.

We have an immediate requirement for a new team member to assist with **Accounting, Administration & Client Relationship **as a result of our expanding project workload. Located in a modern office in Halifax’s North End, we offer a positive working environment with a small team dedicated to working together in a relaxed and social atmosphere. Job Title**:Accounting, Administration & Client Relationship Manager**

3-5 days a week

Hybrid work option available

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly visa reconciliations
- Process weekly payroll
- Prepare weekly AP and AR updates
- Prepare monthly client billing and record sales invoices
- Follow up on overdue invoices with clients
- Prepare monthly internal financial statements
- Prepare and file government remittances - HST monthly and T5018 annually
- Prepare year end working paper file for external accountants
- Social media updates for the company
- Preparation of proposals
- Prepare contracts for new projects and liaise with clients and external consultants as required for contract administration
- Attend staff meetings
- Assist in developing standards, templates, processes, and work procedures
- Track time allocated to various projects/tasks and record weekly in a timesheet
- Coordinating business development and client appreciation tasks

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent knowledge developed from previous work experience or education

**Skills**
- Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized, effective in multi-tasking, and efficient in managing their time
- Ability to work independently on assignments with mínimal supervision, while engaging others as required to overcome roadblocks
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team, including the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in order to improve the team’s overall efficiency and function
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours, when necessary, to meet deadlines
